Old
maps make the perfect decoration for a bon voyage card. You could use a map of the place that the
recipient is heading for. Alternatively,
a map of their home area serves as a nice reminder of where their heart will
always lay. An especially pertinent use
for one of these would be a good luck card for someone off to study Geography
or a connected subject at university. Or a congratulatory one for their
graduation. The recipient might simply
be a person who likes maps. I would be
very happy to receive one!
Decorate
the maps as you please. On these ones
currently on sale in SewsAttic I have added fabric scraps and buttons. I also
made a card once that featured cross-stitched Ordnance Survey map symbols. They
were fun to design!
